In memory of 9/11 card

When I think about 9/11. I remember it was the second week of school for my first daughter. I was home in the morning, when my husband called from work with the news. We didn't get any tv stations other than PBS, so I had to listen to the news reports on the radio. I remember thinking how this just could not be real. Hours later I went to my daughter's kindergarten to celebrate her birthday, even though it was not her actual birthday. I rember going to the school and trying so hard to be happy, yet I was so sick to my stomach.

My heart goes out to those who have lost love one to 9/11 or to the service to our country. Our country would not be the same without those wonderful servicemen and women and their ever supportive families. Thank you to you all.

  1. I too remember where I was when it happened, and my dad's birthday is actually on that day, so I too tried to be up beat in spite of those horrific images of people jumping out of windows.
    BTW, love your card.
