Window Spin Card for My Creative Time Challenge

Thank you to My Craft Spot for her great video on how to  make these spinning window  cards.  They are so easy, yet are so fun.  I made this for the challenge at My Creative Time.  It has been a long time since I have done one of her challenges and I really want to win her stamps.

The challenge was to use Doodle Charms and to add something blue. The sea horses are from Doodle Charms and the scallop from Sweet Treats.  The card and window I made on my gypsy from George.

Pretty 3-D flowers

I am thrilled to have made these flowers. I used two different scallop circles from Sweet Treats. I have not yet found the scallop that I like best. They each folded a bit differently depending on how many scallops they have. The blue was cute at 2 1/4 inches and the red one was cut at 3 inches.

I learned how to make them thanks to Kim on Papercraft Star.  Thank you Kim.

Savior Christmas Card

This week on CCC # 49, the challenge was to do a Christmas card with something that started with the letter "S". I looked through my Christmas Cartridges and decided to do the one I call the Savior of the World.

I used the Winter Frolic cartridge for the manger, baby and star. The circle and scallop is re-sized from a circle flower on Sweet Treats. I don't have a scallop oval on any of my cartridges, but it is easy enough to reshape using the Gypsy. The snowflake background is done with some snowflake stamps and embossing powder. Hope you enjoy and will play along too.

Be Merry Mouse card

I have to say I just love this pattern paper.  Thank you Mary for sending it to me. I am so glad I finally had a chance to play with it.    These mice are from the border feature on Winter Frolic.  The scallop oval is a Sweet treats flower that I tweaked with the gypsy and the oval center is from George and basic shapes.

I think they are so adorable. Next time I would make the present a more contrasting color, so it stands out a bit more, but other than that I am pleased.  It turned out so very cute. I just love this sketch. It is a must do again one. Hope you enjoy and even play along with the Sweet Sunday sketch # 91.

Two takes at one card

I saw this challenge this morning and immediately knew what paper and cartridge I was going to use. I have made a different card with these same colors before. It was nice to do this challenge. I am glad I had a few minutes this evening to play after the kids went to bed and my husband was gone. My inspiration came from this site. The challenge is here at Skipping Stones Designs. Below is the sketch.

Another fall card

I really did not know I liked fall cards as much as I do, but since this is my third one tonight, I think I am on a roll.  I really love this background paper. It is pretty fun. Again my leaves were cut in cream and pressed in some juicy ink to color.  I am really liking this for fall looks.

I found a new challenge blog that I have never used before.  The sketch was cute and I thought I would give it a go.  It is Cardabilities sketch # 13.

I made a different card  here for CCC#  48  a thanksgiving card using any cartridge and colors, but I think I will submit this one instead.  Hope you can take a chance to look at both.

Thanks for all the comments everyone leaves.  They mean so much to me.  Four cards finished  tonight, and I am off to bed.  It was so great to finally have some free time to craft.  I have a packed week ahead, so I am thrilled to have had today to play.

For my Friend card

So for some reason this card looks much better in person than in the photo.  Anyway it was for a couple of challenges.  One for Sweet Sunday Sketch # 84 and the other is for the Cuttlebug's birthday challenge #100.

These are some of my favorite things

I love pink. I love brown. I love cards. I love flowers and ribbon. I love glitter and crafting. These are some of my favorite things.

I made this card for a challenge I just found this week at Jitterbuggin. They had a cute tutorial link on how to make this folding frame. This is a card that I would not mail. It would cost extra, since it is pretty thick. The flower in the center is 4 layers of foam tape. One between each layer and the base.

All the paper, but the pattern paper is from Papertrey Ink. The flower is cut from Sweet Treats. The center of the flower has glitter on the petals and the center I used the cuttlebug tiny bubbles.

I also thought I would submit this for the cuttlebug challenge, where the theme is pink for My Pink Stamper. She has some new great stamps out that I think I might have to invest in soon. Hope you enjoy.

Make a Wish Birthday Card- Card Patterns Sketch #76

Wow, I got this made the first day. I did this for Card Patterns Challenge #76 that was just released online today. Scallop border at bottom is from tag option on Sweet treats, as is all the cuts on this card. Scallop circle is from one of the flowers, circles are the flower centers. All were sized on my gypsy to fit.

Hope you enjoy.

Another Sweet Treats Flower Card

Here is another card made with CTMH paper and Ink and the Sweet Treats cartridge for the Flower.

Ice Cream Cone card

I did this ice cream cone card for a challenge on Fantabulouscricut   # 18. I just recently stumbled on this blog and will be checking them out more soon.

This is a fun card to make. It did not turn out as expected at the beginning. I just tweaked things as I went. The goal was to make it a card using Sweet treats card function. I pretty much make A2 size cards, so for met to make one that was not a rectangle was a good challenge for me. That turned out pretty easy.

The cone was not the right fit, but we made it work. The scoops were the perfect size. The flavors are mint chocolate chip, vanilla carmel swirl, and chocolate with a cherry on top. I used UTEE on the ice cream and cherry to give them a shiny look that they have would normally have. Added diamond stickles to a part of th cherry. Cuttlebug Divine Swirls on the middle scoop of ice cream and the cone I used candy cane cuttlebug. I have seen som great embossing folders for the cone, I just don't own one.

Sweet Treat Flower card

I had to test out some new Close to My Heart paper and ink. So I made this card with it. All paper is CTMH, except the green, which is a paper pack from Joann's Fabric.

You inspire me card

My Pink Stamper recently chose some very talented people for her design team.  I thought it would be fun and a good opportunity for me to step up my level of cricutting.  So I sent this project in.  I did not make the team, but I am still glad I participated.

Here is what I used:
White A2 size card
Drk. brown paper
2 shades of pink paper
Gypsy or designs studio to resize frame to just smaller than A2 card
Storybook- (Crnrswl  Frame)
Divine swirl cuttlebug on frame
Sweet treats- (Flower 2)
Tiny bubbles cuttlebug on flower center
ek success dotted scallop edge punch
pencil to curl flower petals
Close to my heart gray ink

More cards from Sweet treats

I just love the pink and brown. The first one I just love. I had a great time playing with my new stuff and seeing what it can do. I look forward to many more fun projects.

Blue & Brown card from sweet treats

This card is made from my new Papertrey Ink paper, ribbon and ink. I have never used them before and am glad I did. Their prices are reasonable. I got a little nervous, because I found out that their ink line is being discontinued until the new line is released this fall. I bought three colors of ink and only one was not at the same consistency as the other ones. It is still is fine to use and I am glad I got it.  I tested the ink by making my own background.

The flower was cut from Sweet Treats cartridge and the edges were inked and curled.
