Pumpkin Fun
I am not sure what I do wrong, but some colors don't photograph very close to what it really looks like in person. The green I am using does not look so bright. I tried to use my picasa editor, since I am not a photoshop girl like my husband. So here you get a bright green when it is not nearly so toxic in person. All my colors were really off before my husband made me a photo box to shoot my pictures in. Buy every now and then I still have a few coloring problem.
Any way, I was trying to do the jitterbug sketch # 21 and I love the card in person, so so on the photograph. The challenge required use of cricut, embossing, and a pumpkin some where. What a fun challenge.

CCC # 45
Here is the card I made for CCC #45.
This card has been cut using the Paperdolls dress up. I love thatcart.
One time saving thing I did is I pressed all the clothes and feathers in ink to get the colors I got. That way I did not have to cut many sheets of paper. I just used a couple of colors of paper for the clothes. The skin is all the same color too, but I inked the indians to shade them a bit. I am thrilled with how it turned out. Ilove playing with new techniques. At least new to me.

Jitterbuggin Challenge
I made this Halloween card for the challenge here at Jitterbuggin. My little monster is cut from the Paperdoll dress up cart, his bag is from Doodle Charms. It is an Gate fold card. The second one I have made. It was a fun little sketch to follow.

Spider card with joke
So what type of sentiment do you put with a spider card? I just couldn't think of anything I really liked so I did a joke instead. What fun this card was to make. I used stickles on the spider and glossy accents on the web. Web and spider both cut from Paperdolls dress up. I did this for a challenge for Mary at Cardz TV.

Farm card
I just love this barn in the Everyday paper dolls cart. The turkey and ducks came from Animal Kingdom. The grass and fence from Dress up paper dolls. The tree is from Stretch your imaginations. The clouds came from a varity of carts. It was pretty time consuming to put it all together, but it was fun to make.
It reminds me of the farm I grew up on, where we had wild turkeys, duck and chickens. For a small bit of time we had goats, sheep and horses too. We didn't have the cool red barn, but oh well. I am glad to live in town now. Too much work to own a farm. I would never have time for crafting and that would be too sad.

Stormy ship card
I saw recently a card with a silhouetted boy fishing in the most beautiful sunset background. It was truly beautiful. I don't remember the site I saw it on, but it sure left an impression on me. So when I saw this ship in Paper doll dress up. I just had to have a try at a stormy background. I will want to play with it more, but this was my first attempt.
Winter challenge
My Pink Stamper has a winter challenge right now going on on her blog. Winter always makes me think of the birth of Christ. I have been dying to make this manger scene from the Paper dolls dress up cartridge for a while. I noticed that there is a new cartridge coming out soon with a manger scene. I will have to get that one and try it too. All of this was cut and re-sized in my gypsy. The background is done with a brayer roller and three shades of blue ink. Then I used the snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder. The only thing that I am missing is a star, but there were not any that I was really thrilled about in the carts I own.
