This weeks challenge was to use sparkle. I thought a ring would be perfect, since I have a wedding reception to go to in a couple of weeks. Their colors on the invitations are brown and dark red.
For sparkle, I embossed and glittered the ring, then I glittered the Mr. and Mrs. tag. Lastly I embossed the background and added glitter there too. It is harder to see. I hope you can see it and also play along with the challenge this week here.

craft day with the family
Saturday we went to the craft store. Each child got to pick something for making cards and scrapbooking, even my 4 year old boy.
Here are some cards made with my kids and their cousin. First one my son made with his big sister.
This one by my other daughter. She made it for her music teacher at school who is having a baby soon. The sub will be a displaced music teacher my older daughter had and loved. The inside is funny.
Even though my hubby wasn't feeling well, he still made this card and it was for me.
My first purse. I love it. My oldest daughter asked if she could take it to the dance that night.
AAAA NOOOO!!!!
Made by cousin Margaret
My son had to make a second card. Tried to convince him to use another cut than the heart. Oh, well it's his card.
The last card is for my oldest daughter's old science teacher from middle school. Her birthday is Tuesday and she made this card. Not sure about the nose holes, but I didn't see it until she was done.

Luv bug card
I thought this bug was so cute. So I made 3 x 3 cards on Valentine's Day for a couple of ladies from church and dropped off some dipped oreos. Yum.
Just a cute simple card, but fun. All were from my scrap pile.

Sensational Scenes blog hop
Hello everyone! Welcome to the Sensational Scenes Blog Hop hosted by Christina from http://www.cardcreationsbyc.blogspot.com/ Thank you Christina for inviting me to participate in this hop.
You should have arrived from Janis.
I just love flowers and a nice gazebo and this is what I envisioned when I I heard of this hop. Now just picture me with my husband and a nice picnic lunch. Oh, how I can not wait until it gets warmer.
Here is the list of everyone. Thanks for dropping by. Your next stop is Savhanna.

Friday Surprise Valentine’s Project
Hi Everyone,
Today Denise (my wife) has been busy at our daughter's school running their Jog-A-Thon, so I though I would put together this Valentine's project as a surprise and to inspire husbands, fathers, boyfriends and anyone else who might be puzzling over what to give as a gift on Monday. Here is a link to the project file and I hope every one has fun making their own heart shaped candy box. -SG

Another fun 3-D flower
I saw this cute way to make a 3-D flower from a video here,
I just had to try it when I saw it. I used my 1 inch circle punch and it turned out the perfect size for this card. I have a friend who has a birthday tomorrow, so I thought I would drop it by. Can you believe no cricut for this one?
Puppy love take two
So I made this card last week for two challenges, but life got busy and one of them has closed before I could get pictures and post it. Any way I just love this puppy from the Sweethearts cartridge and the PKS really make it adorable.
