Be Merry Mouse card
I have to say I just love this pattern paper. Thank you Mary for sending it to me. I am so glad I finally had a chance to play with it. These mice are from the border feature on Winter Frolic. The scallop oval is a Sweet treats flower that I tweaked with the gypsy and the oval center is from George and basic shapes.
I think they are so adorable. Next time I would make the present a more contrasting color, so it stands out a bit more, but other than that I am pleased. It turned out so very cute. I just love this sketch. It is a must do again one. Hope you enjoy and even play along with the Sweet Sunday sketch # 91.

Hoot & Holler Owl Card
Hoo knew I would love owls so much. I just love cards with owls. They are so cute and fun. I love this cartridge and am excited to make lots more cards. Just need more free time. I made this one while dinner was in the oven and my husband went for a run for himself (6.4 miles) and then a mile run with our middle child, who loves to run.
I was planning to make this card some time this week or weekend, but when I saw the Jutterbuggin challenge for an owl with a square and circle. I was excited I had circle eyes and a square sentiment.
Stay tuned for more cards made from Winter Frolic.
Christmas Cards 2010 sleigh ride
I just got this cart in the mail yesterday. I love ebay, super cheap cartridges. It is the Christmas Cards 2010 mini cartridge. There are a few cards from here that I am excited to try. I would like to try this same card using mainly blues and browns. I think it would give it a nice wintery look.

Two takes at one card
I saw this challenge this morning and immediately knew what paper and cartridge I was going to use. I have made a different card with these same colors before. It was nice to do this challenge. I am glad I had a few minutes this evening to play after the kids went to bed and my husband was gone. My inspiration came from this site. The challenge is here at Skipping Stones Designs. Below is the sketch.

Another fall card
I really did not know I liked fall cards as much as I do, but since this is my third one tonight, I think I am on a roll. I really love this background paper. It is pretty fun. Again my leaves were cut in cream and pressed in some juicy ink to color. I am really liking this for fall looks.
I found a new challenge blog that I have never used before. The sketch was cute and I thought I would give it a go. It is Cardabilities sketch # 13.
I made a different card here for CCC# 48 a thanksgiving card using any cartridge and colors, but I think I will submit this one instead. Hope you can take a chance to look at both.
Thanks for all the comments everyone leaves. They mean so much to me. Four cards finished tonight, and I am off to bed. It was so great to finally have some free time to craft. I have a packed week ahead, so I am thrilled to have had today to play.
Pumpkin Fun
I am not sure what I do wrong, but some colors don't photograph very close to what it really looks like in person. The green I am using does not look so bright. I tried to use my picasa editor, since I am not a photoshop girl like my husband. So here you get a bright green when it is not nearly so toxic in person. All my colors were really off before my husband made me a photo box to shoot my pictures in. Buy every now and then I still have a few coloring problem.
Any way, I was trying to do the jitterbug sketch # 21 and I love the card in person, so so on the photograph. The challenge required use of cricut, embossing, and a pumpkin some where. What a fun challenge.
Fall Thanks Card
I used Doodle Charms and Pooh and Friends to cut the leaves. I bought the leave pattern paper last year and never got around to using it. It was nice to finally play with it. The leaves were cut from a cream paper and brown. Then I just pressed them against various colors of ink pads that are really inky. I like the color effect it gives.
I made this card for two challenges:
FBBC # 32 use at least one fall leaf and the cricut
CPS #190 sketch layout
Hope you enjoy.
Just because...
Just because... I have not had time to craft for myself for a while.
Just because... I wanted to just do my own thing, with no rules.
Just because... I noticed afterward that if I added a ribbon it would fit a certain challenge on Card Patterns # 87.
Just because... I needed a card for the cup cakes I made that I made for someone who did some plumbing work for us yesterday for free.
Just because... I really love this cut on this card.
Just because... Why not?

Have a grape day! MPS color challenge
This was a 30 min. challenge at My Pink Stamper. You had to make a card in 30 minutes using only the colors pink, green and purple. I recently bought the Preserves cartridge, but have not had time to use it. I have mixed feelings on these grapes. The sentiment is from MPS and I really like the double ribbon. It was fun to challenge myself to make this card in a certain time frame. Thank you Robyn.

CCC# 47
This is for challenge # 47 for CCC. It was a card for breast cancer awareness. Use any cartridge and any colors. I hope you play along too.
This was a hard card to do, because last May my mother-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has multiple sclerosis, so I wondered if she was going to win this battle. She went through chemo and is now almost done with radiation. They had to stop the chemo, because her immune system was not bouncing back from it and she was having complications. Her body is always so frail. The words I used in this card to me describe her determination to over come this awful disease. I wish more people would have her determination. I know for some it is just too late by the time they find out. Some battle it multiple times, only to lose in the end. I wish there was a cure so that so many women and a few men would not lose their lives to this. I wish that those who are suffering would be surrounded by love and comfort. I just wish that no one feel like that have to go through this alone.

Quick card #2
Here is so more just from my scrap of left overs things. Even the card was from when i was practicing embossing using multiple folders with a smooth non-embossed area. Orginally I was planning to use embossing powder in the middle for a sentiment. However, I really like the flower. The scallop circle behind the flower is an extra from the cards I have been prepping for the weekend.
Quick Christmas Card
I have not had a lot of personal crafting time for a bit. I have been pre-cutting 75 cards (15 of 5 different ones) for a class I am teaching on Saturday for church. I finally got it all done. Now I just need to organized all the extra supplies I need to bring and get it organized into packets.
Any way I have been dying to do a challenge and so my goal tonight was what can I make while digging through my scrap stuff. I had the holly that was too big for a project I had made if for, but I still thought it was cute and had spent too much time making and inking it and then I had a sentifment cut out of some ink and embossing I did. I also had to bling it up a bit. Not my best work and now that I am done there are some things I would do differently.
Hope to get some crafting done soon.

CCC # 45
Here is the card I made for CCC #45.
This card has been cut using the Paperdolls dress up. I love thatcart.
One time saving thing I did is I pressed all the clothes and feathers in ink to get the colors I got. That way I did not have to cut many sheets of paper. I just used a couple of colors of paper for the clothes. The skin is all the same color too, but I inked the indians to shade them a bit. I am thrilled with how it turned out. Ilove playing with new techniques. At least new to me.

Season's Greetings Christmas card
I ink embossed the right side of this card and then embossed the sentiment. Pretty simple card, but I think it looks pretty good.
Blog hop give away for gypsy
For those of you who do not own a gypsy. The cricut circle has each of their design team members giving away two gypsies each on their personal blogs. You do NOT have to be a cricut circle to win. Good luck, let me know if any of you win. Here is the link.

Think Pink Card
I made this quick and simple pink card for the challenge #2 for the world card making day with Creations with Christina. It is an embossing folder I got recently called Sugar from Sizzix. I used of course my new irock on the empty spaces by the ribbon. I was going to use the stones on all the empty spaces, but then all I notice was the stones and not the pretty embossed pattern. I hope you enjoy.
Jitterbuggin Challenge
I made this Halloween card for the challenge here at Jitterbuggin. My little monster is cut from the Paperdoll dress up cart, his bag is from Doodle Charms. It is an Gate fold card. The second one I have made. It was a fun little sketch to follow.
How tweet it! sketch challenge
I have never used this cut before. In fact it comes from a cart I rarely use, except for grass. It is my go to card if I need grass.
So I thought it would be fun to use it for more than just grass. I even got to use my new irock for the mama bird's eye and the sentiment.
I got the sketch from here.
Halloween card
So my goal with this card was to not use my cricut and to use the colors purple, orange and green. I found this cute house and ghost from a Recollections Halloween pack I got last year with good intentions to use, but a year later I finally cut my first paper. It is a really fun pack.
